Our founding base, where PLK supports education through Tumaini and Kiotani schools and child sponsorships for vulnerable children. We also provide HIV psychosocial support, SRHR, care reforms, agri-entrepreneurship, child protection, mentorship, and livelihood training in tailoring, cosmetology, and small businesses at Faraja Empowerment Centre and Kiotani Centre.
PLK- Aslomar is empowering children, youth, and families in Kilifi through permaculture and SRHR education. The project trains pupils, teachers, and youth champions in sustainable farming and reproductive health, supports home and school gardens, and integrates both food security and health awareness into schools—building climate resilience, stronger livelihoods, and healthier communities.
PLK is promoting care reforms to prevent family separation and support children in safe, nurturing homes. In schools, we strengthen SRHR education through peer clubs and teacher training to equip young people with knowledge and life skills. Our agri-entrepreneurship programs help families increase food production and income, while renewable energy solutions such as solar power and clean cooking reduce costs and improve health. Through mentorship for youth and parents, we build resilience, confidence, and pathways to sustainable livelihoods
We focus on SRHR and child protection, with strong emphasis on care reforms to keep children in safe, supportive families. We also provide rescue for cases regarding Gender based violence, Teen pregnancies, and early marriages
We work to advance , Education, SRHR and child protection initiatives to reduce vulnerability and ensure children grow up in safe and healthy communities. Additionally, we work to eliminate Gender based violence and provide rescue centres for women and girls escaping GBV, early marriages and FGM
